Our story started in 2012, when Anthony attended the office hours that Maddy was holding as a Lab Assistant in 6.00 - Introduction to Computer Science & Engineering at MIT. Despite Maddy's best intentions to take credit for Anthony's career, his programming skills quickly outclassed hers; regardless, we remained close, and Maddy even attended two of Anthony's fraternity formals with him (as friends) during Junior and Senior year.

Our friendship continued as we both stayed in Boston after graduating, trained for and ran Anthony's first half marathon together, and frequently got together for game nights. In 2018, we moved in together as roommates while we were busy building our careers and saving money (hence the need to live with roommates in the first place).

It wasn't until Maddy decided to look for her first home and move out that we took the step to become more than friends. Knowing each other so well, it wasn't long before we could feel that this one would last. Over 3.5 years of dating, we made it through a global pandemic together, traveled, learned, lost jobs and took new ones, joined a dart team together, adopted a dog, and so much more. On March 27th, Anthony surprised Maddy by flying her best friend, Kendall, out to Denver, where he popped the question. Now, we're ready to start our biggest adventure together, surrounded by our friends and family.
